DevDrills Tools is a free platform with 60+ browser-based tools across six areas — HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, PDF, and text and content utilities. Everything runs in your browser tab. No installs, no signups, and nothing you paste is uploaded.

The core tools will always stay free — that's a promise. If we ever add premium features down the road, they'll be optional extras. Nothing you can use today will get locked behind a paywall.

Yes. Most tools run entirely in your browser using client-side JavaScript — your files, text, passwords, and other inputs never leave your device. They don't reach our servers at all. We don't collect, store, or transmit anything you put into the tools.

No. Not a thing. Password generation, UUID creation, code formatting — all of it happens locally in your browser. Nothing gets sent to our servers, and we don't log or track any of it.

It means the tool runs entirely in your browser using JavaScript. So when you generate a password, format JSON, or convert an image, your device does the work — not some remote server. The result? It's faster, more private, and even works with spotty internet after the page loads.

They are. Both our password generator and UUID generator use the Web Crypto API (crypto.getRandomValues) for cryptographically secure random number generation. That means true randomness — good enough for authentication tokens, API keys, database identifiers, and other security-sensitive use cases.

Yep. Most tools let you copy to clipboard or download as TXT, CSV, JSON, or XML. Image tools support PNG, JPG, and WebP downloads. The exact export options depend on the tool, but there's usually more than one way to get your data out.

Absolutely. Everything is fully responsive — works on phones, tablets, and desktops. The interface adapts to your screen size, so you get the same functionality whether you're on an iPhone, Android, iPad, or a desktop browser.

All the major ones — Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, and Opera. We build with standard web tech (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript ES2017+), so if your browser is reasonably up to date, you're good.

Kind of. Once a tool page has loaded, most client-side tools (text formatters, converters, generators) will keep working even if your connection drops. But you do need internet to load the page in the first place. Tools that rely on external APIs — like IP lookup or page speed checker — need an active connection throughout.

Pretty much instant. Since most tools run client-side, there's no server round-trip slowing things down. Code formatting, text conversion, password generation, UUID creation — all done in milliseconds. Image processing takes a bit longer depending on file size, but it's optimized for speed.
